I actually do fairly well by Medium standards in writing fiction ... not just because of the niche but hopefully there's some character interest as well. I plan to expand out of one fiction niche.

I agree that the Top 3 you pointed out aren't exactly my fav-favs. And they certainly do lean in one direction (not the music group). Thx for writing this.
