Funny how this thought struck me yesterday ... I've written a new little series of stories here that I can turn into a novella, but I see how the characters need more depth, the B story flushed out, etc. And I have realized in the past that many times, not all, my stories on Medium are good rough drafts or first drafts. There are those I'll end up polishing.

Yes, it's a good practice to reread them and figure out what can be done to polish them up. I often write my first draft on a blog the evening before, sleep on it, and redo it when I'm fresh in the morning. That seems to work for me. &:^)
